The details that matter before you start.

Answers about workspaces, client access, payments, and event planning.

Who is PlanWell for?

PlanWell is a CRM for businesses whose work happens on a date: event planners, decor and rental companies, officiants, DJs, photographers, florists, hair and makeup artists, photo booths and bartenders, venues, and caterers. Event planners also get guests, seating, vendors, and the run of show for weddings, corporate events, galas, and other events.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. A new business account gets 30 days with every feature included, and no card is needed to start. When it ends, the workspace pages pause until you choose a plan; nothing is deleted, and your clients keep their portals.

Do clients need to pay?

No. The business pays for the workspace. Invited clients can use their private portals without buying their own subscription.

What is the difference between Solo, Studio, and Enterprise?

All three include the same event tools. Solo is one seat. Studio includes up to three seats. Enterprise has unlimited seats. Yearly billing costs less than paying monthly for twelve months. See Pricing for the yearly charge and monthly equivalent.

Can one client have more than one event?

Yes. A contact can be connected to multiple events, and each event keeps its own planning details and client portal.

Can an event have more than one client?

Yes. You can invite the primary client and additional collaborators while controlling event access.

Does PlanWell process client payments?

PlanWell connects each business to its own Stripe account. Stripe handles card details and verification. PlanWell never holds the money.

Can clients see my private notes?

No. Information kept to your team stays private. You choose which tasks, files, dates, and other event details appear in the client portal.

Can I use my own templates?

Yes. Every workspace can create and reuse checklists, questionnaires, messages, budgets, workflows, and contract drafts.
